picture is unknown, but the standpipe is
shown on the hand drawn map of 1873. It
stood on the original site designated as
the town square

structure is shown on the 1873 map. The
teacher was Babe Cobb. The smokestack
of the Yantis Flour Mill is visable in the
back.

The Clay County Courthouse as it
was originally built with the clock tower.
